Latest figures from the Sutherland Tables, an independent provider of comparative home heating costs for the most common fuels in the British Isles show that home heating oil is at a 5 year low.
The annual cost to heat a 3 bedroom house (both space and water) with an oil fired condensing boiler is just £898, and £1279 for a 4 bedroom house.
In comparison, a gas fired condensing boiler would have an annual cost of £1115 for a three bedroom house, and £1551 for a 4 bedroom house. Making kerosene, substantially lower in price and providing a much more cost effective means of heating the home to the customer.
